My role as a mentor
I guide students with honesty, cultural respect, compassion, and clear boundaries. My role is to teach, help students develop discipline and discernment, support safe spiritual practice, and encourage personal growth. I do not claim to know everything, promise spiritual status, or replace medical, mental-health, legal, or financial professionals.
General mentorship
General mentorship includes spiritual education, reflection, grounding, meditation, traditional context, discussion of spiritual experiences, and responsible practice. A mentorship appointment is educational. It does not create a formal master and student relationship.
Formal master and student relationship
A formal relationship begins only after a separate conversation and mutual acceptance. Readiness, service fit, expectations, fees, supplies, preparation, communication, and any ceremony requirements must be explained and agreed to in writing before formal enrollment. No one becomes my student simply by paying, booking, attending a session, or using the title “student.”
Student expectations
- Maintain open, honest, and respectful communication.
- Practice consistently and follow agreed safety instructions.
- Participate in teaching, community, or check-in activities when required.
- Act with honesty, respect, integrity, humility, and responsibility.
- Respect confidentiality, cultural teachings, intellectual property, and the privacy of other students.
- Ask questions when something is unclear and never perform a practice beyond your training or comfort.
Fees and preparation
Mentorship, formal enrollment, supplies, travel, ceremonies, altar preparation, and added services have separate fees. I confirm every requirement before payment. Except where required by law, fees and purchases are final under the refund policy. If you are not financially or personally ready, wait before committing.
Safety, boundaries, and conduct
Both mentor and student have the right to ask questions, set reasonable boundaries, or end a poor fit. Threats, harassment, intimidation, discrimination, sexual misconduct, abusive language, unethical behavior, repeated disrespect, and unsafe practice are not accepted.
Ending the relationship
Either party has the right to end the relationship respectfully. I reserve the right to suspend or end mentorship because of inactivity, poor communication, repeated non-participation, unsafe or unethical conduct, broken confidentiality, boundary violations, threats, or disrespect. I will explain any closing steps, unfinished responsibilities, or required written notice.
Student acknowledgement
Formal students receive the applicable handbook or policies before enrollment. Each student gets time for questions and signs an acknowledgement covering expectations, fees, boundaries, conduct rules, suspension, and termination. I confirm formal acceptance in writing when the process is complete.
